Great Food and Wine Choices. Perfect for fish lovers, and there were some options for non pescatarians. Extensive sparkling wine collection at reasonable prices (mostly local Franciacorta wine, but other Italian variates available. Service - Staff were very friendly and had a great command of English.

We stopped by here for lunch today and it was incredible: the waiters were very friendly and didn’t miss a beat, we ordered drinks and they came seconds later, the food was all delicious. Couldn’t fault it and let’s not forget the view 😍 would recommend this place to anyone who likes high quality restaurants …

The location is incredible, the terrace is beautiful and the service is great. But the food is overpriced and average at best. The menu is intimidating and when the food arrived it was disappointing. We ordered primi e secondi, the primi was fine. The secondi (25 euro each) were poor, the rump was tough, it hadn't rested long enough (and bled quite a bit) and the plate was too warm (the mousse had turned to liquid before it reached the table) and the mixed lake fish of the day with zucchini was also disappointing - all fish tasted the same - as if they had all been cooked in the same pan/grill. Overall it was a disappointing experience for such a beautiful hotel and location. We went to the restaurant in Pilzone (la perla) the following evening, the food had much more flavour, the restaurant had more atmosphere and for a third of the price.

Spectacular ambiance and views. The table is so close to the lake it feels weird that your feet are dry! The food is refined and progressive. A veritable bible of a wine list, big on the local star Franciacorta. Such nice and accommodating staff, courteous but not stuffy at all. the perfect place for a cheeky escape while the family take care of the toddler :) Grazie mille!

We would describe this as a country side chique restaurant from 30 years ago. The service was great, but the dishes were disappointing. Especially the starters (too salty or tasteless), the main dishes (un primo y un secundi) were well cooked, but not what we expected from this restaurant that pretends it is a high class restaurant. The desserts didn't take my interest, but that's a personal opinion. The price-quality rate is out of range. Not incredibly expensive (Dutch measures), but not worth what we have eaten. For us it was a bit strange that we couldn't get a table outside, because it was reserved apparently, but the whole night the tables remained empty. We would not go back here ever again.
